COSTAL COURSES

 

OMYCsailing will use outlying islands as well as standard positions for permanent or temporary buoys.  These buoys will be located in the following approximate positions unless otherwise stipulated in the course description.

It is proposed that all yachts enter these co-ordinates in their GPS:

Mark A - Off Jomtien Beach        N12.52.000     E100.50.700

Mark B - Off Monkey Island        N12.46.300     E100.50.100

Mark C - Off Ko Khram Noi        N12.44.650     E100.47.400

Mark D - Off Jomtien Beach        N12.53.500 E 100.51.600

Mark E - Off Koh Larn              N12.53.600 E100.46.500

CWM* -   Off Baan Amphur        N12.48.787     E100.54.083 

*Permanent Clear Water Mark (or substitute)

 

IMPORTANT NOTE?

When the "W" flag is flown before the start, together with a port or starboard flag, there will be a bouy placed approx. 1 nm to windward. This mark will become the first mark of the course.
