AMENDMENTS TO INTERNATIONAL PLATU 25 CLASS RULES 2007

FOR THAILAND NATIONAL EVENTS (issued 9 April 2008)

    INTRODUCTION

The Amendments to Platu 25 Class Rules for National Events in Thailand are issued by the National Class Association (NCA). The Rules differ in some instances from the ISAF Platu 25 Class Rules as the boats raced in Thailand are different from the Beneteau 25 manufactured in Europe, on which the international class rules are largely based.

The Platu Class Rules for Thailand are administrated by the NCA, and any questions should be addressed to Mr. Kevin Scott by email kevscott@hotmail.com

The Platu Class Rules for Thailand will, to the largest extent possible , follow the Platu 25 Class Rules. It is the aim of the NCA over time to eliminate the discrepancies with the international class rules, which will theN make it possible for the Platu fleet in Thailand to comply with the ISAF Platu 25 Class Rules.

The following pages outline the variations to the Platu 25 Class Rules 2007.

The Platu 25 Class Rules 2007 are available on the club website www.OMYCsailing.com

In very special circumstance the NCA may issue a temporary dispensation to a yacht that does not meet specific class rules.
